BUSINESS LAW & MOCK TRIAL STUDENTS VISIT SARATOGA SPRINGS CITY COURT
On Friday, November 15th, sixteen students from Greenwich High School’s Business Law class and Mock Trial Team and their teachers, Mrs. Belden and Ms. Saunders, visited the Saratoga Springs City Court. Students observed a very active morning of court proceedings. They were able to connect what happened in court with many of the topics discussed in the classroom. Saratoga Springs City Court Judge, Francine Vero, also took the time to speak with the students between cases and Chief Clerk, Casey Scatena, gave the students a tour of the court.
The field trip was a wonderful opportunity for students to link the classroom with “real world” experiences. The class and Greenwich High School would like to thank Saratoga Springs City Court, Casey Scatena, and Judge Vero for providing this opportunity.
