- Type your work in plain, simple
(meaning default) style. After all the information has been typed, you
can then go back to format the text as you would like. I have found
this method to be the most productive.
- When centering text (as in the
title), use the alignment shortcuts on the formatting bar. Do not use
the spacebar to “eyeball” the placement on the page.
- Use the “Tab” key
for indenting paragraphs…not the spacebar.
- Use “Print Preview”
before printing to be sure that your results will be what you expect.
Surprises are not a good thing.
