Students in 7^th and 8^{th grade} with at least two years Elementary Band experience can participate in the Junior High Band which meets every other day (M Days), fourth period.  This ensemble has three scheduled performances throughout the year (Winter, Pops, Spring concerts) and also the Memorial Day Parade and Graduation.  Each student attends one group lesson per week that is on a rotating lesson schedule.  Each lesson group meets on the same day of the week but on a different period, and students will only miss the same class twice during a marking period.  Students also have the opportunity to perform in co-curricular musical activities including All-County Band, NYSSMA Solo Festival, Jazz Band, and Pep Band.
