1. Select and read a poetry book. Read at least 10 poems from the collection.2. Include the following things on the poster:
The title and author or editor of the collection of poems;
A copy of your favorite poem;
The title and author of your favorite poem;
Colors that go with your favorite poem;
A summary of the poem's meaning using words; and
Illustrations of the poem that you draw or cut out of magazines.
3. Write answers to the following questions clearly on the poster:
Why is this your favorite poem from the book you have read?
Does the author use rhyme, color words, form, or special meaning to convey the message?
How would you rate the collection of poems? Why?
