students work to create a book of their writing.
They use their spelling words for the week to
respond to a writing prompt. The spelling list
and writing assignment comes home on Monday.
They write their draft and revise and edit their
piece for homework on Monday, Tuesday and
Wednesday. |

The
students share their work, revise as needed,
write their final copy, and proofread. Finished
writing pieces form a "book" of their WSP
(Writing-Spelling-Proofreading) assignments. |
