OUTSIDE PLAY:
The third grade classes go outside every day,
weather permitting, for a 30-minute recess period.
We encourage students to bring, or wear, appropriate
outside gear. During this time, a study room is
provide for students that need a little extra time
to complete assignments. After students complete
assignments they may go outside for the remainder of
the period. Also, after eating lunch, students have
a supervised recess period. They rotate among the
gym, an activity room, and outside. Students play on
the blacktop if the playing fields are too wet and
muddy. |
