Happy Spring!    As always, your child should be keeping you informed as to what is going on ,but if not, you may find the answer to your questions here, or simply feel free to email me.  Please continue to look at your child's planner each day and encourage them to write everything they may need to be reminded of in there.  I did not assign a book project for March....instead the students have been assigned their state report projects.  This is a very big deal in Fifth grade.  I have explained it in detail on the homework page of my website.  If you have any questions please let me know.  I am happy to clarify anything for you.  We have been busy since our return from our winter break.  We are finishing up the Westward Expansion in Social Studies and just beginning to learn about legal and illegal drugs in Health.  We are still plugging away on fractions in math!  It has been an long, slow haul I must admit, but the students are staying positive:)
