"A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.” Henry Adams
I have been at Greenwich Central School since September 2000, I teach Biology and Advance Placement Biology. My passion is for Biology and I enjoy teaching students about the complexities of the human body, the living environment we live in as well as the diverse nature of the organisms that surround our campus! Let me tell you a little about myself; I am a Rhode Island native and to the laughter of my students still have a little bit of “Rhode Islandese” in my speech…for example “Car” would be pronounced “Cah”…I graduated from Rhode Island College in 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. I later moved to New York & attended SUNY Plattsburgh for my Master’s in Education which I received in 2002. In August of 1994, I married my wife Viki, and in 1996 we had our first child Annina. Since then we have had 3 more children; Immanuel, Sophia and Mia. We live in a cozy corner of Greenwich called Clarks Mills. I enjoy keeping honey bees, raising chickens as well as making maple syrup! These simple activities keep me busy, but it is something that we as a family do together and later we are able to enjoy the fruits of our labor. I am also a member of the Army National Guard and have been for 22 years. I was previously enlisted, but currently I am a commissioned officer with the rank of Captain. I deployed to Iraq from July 2006 to October 2007 support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the war on Terror. I am currently the commander of the 43rd Military Police Brigade's Headquarters Company, out of Rhode Island.
