Thirty –six years
ago, Tim Bulger graduated from GCS and in the years since, he has
gone on to become a prominent Greenwich attorney and with wife and
GCS classmate, Cindy (Allen) Bulger, raise a family of four boys.
After high school, Tim attended Lemoyne College, earning a Bachelor
of Arts degree. Following college, he attended Western New England
School of Law and earned a Juris Doctor (JD) degree. For the last
twenty-six years, Tim has been practicing law in Greenwich, with an
emphasis in estates, real estate and family law.
In addition to parenting and his private law practice, Tim has
contributed to the betterment of the Greenwich community. He has
been the
Municipal Attorney for the Village of Greenwich and Town of Easton.
He has also coached little league baseball and was a Board of
Education member from 1984-1989. Over the years, he has been a
frequent attendee at GCS
athletic events, cheering on the Witches.
During
his GCS years, Tim was a member of the National Honor Society and
enjoyed cross-country, basketball and track and field. He believes
that GCS “…gave me the opportunity to do well in the classroom and
participate. The success and participation built self-confidence,
which helped me continue to succeed” after high school. Tim
particularly recalls GCS mentors who made a difference for him:“
Mrs. Morse, Mrs. Austin, Mr. Kuba, Mr. Wappett and coach Rick
McGuire.”
Today Tim enjoys running, golf, Notre Dame football (sons Daniel and
Kieran are Notre Dame grads) and he has nearly completed his mission
to “get four kids through college”
Tim is the son of Gerald and the late Wanda Bulger, of Greenwich and
he has three siblings: Patricia (GCS ’76),
Devin, Eamon, Dan, Kieran, Tim and Cindy Bulger
Connie (’78) and Susan (’81). Tim and
at Kieran's Notre Dame Graduation
Cindy live in Schaghticoke, NY
(Greenwich School District) and their children include: Dan (GCS
’02), Devin (’04), Kieran (’06) and Eamon (’12), a “rising junior.”
Given Tim’s priorities and long-time personal investment in the
Greater Greenwich community, it is not surprising that his
philosophy is captured in a quotation from Albert Schweitzer: “I
don’t know what your destiny will be, but one thing I know: the only
ones among you who will be really happy are those who will have
sought and found how to serve.”
