Sports Law is a relatively new field beginning in the 1970’s. Many sport manager leadership positions require knowledge of legal issues. Though it is not necessary to be a lawyer to hold these positions, it certainly helps to understand the legal issues involved in sports management. This is a one-half year, one-half credit course. The recommended pre-requisite for this course is Business Law and is recommended for Juniors and Seniors.
