What is IST??
The Instructional Support Team was formed for the purpose of
developing multi-disciplinary interventions
to improve student achievement.
IST accepts referrals from teachers and parents with the
goal of enhancing student academic,
communication, motor and/or social functioning.
Membership is student specific and will typically include the
student’s teacher, a special educator,
an Academic Intervention Service teacher and school
psychologist.
IST may also include a speech pathologist, the previous year’s
teacher, school nurse,
occupational therapist, physical therapist and administrator.

Speech and
Language Therapy
We are both
licensed Speech and Language Pathologists at Greenwich Central
School.
We work with students who have various communication disorders
in kindergarten through high school.
As a team, we will conduct formal and informal assessments to
determine each individual student's strengths
and needs in the areas of speech and language.
